Please forward the following feedback to the product team regarding a long-standing design flaw:
Your soundbars automatically switch to Game Mode whenever they detect the TV entering Game Mode. This forces users to manually change sound modes every single time they access Game Mode on the TV. It has been this way for years and is a frustrating, unnecessary user experience.
Proposed solution: Add a simple toggle in the SmartThings app or TV settings that allows the user to disable automatic mode switching, keeping the Sound Mode exactly as set by the user.
I often use Game Mode on my TV for reasons other than gaming (e.g., PC use) and I do not want to watch movies or listen to music in Game Mode audio.
Please stop assuming all Game Mode usage equals console gaming, and give users control over their own audio mode.
