Mine is also doing the exact same thing and has been cycling on and off no matter what I do, my model is BD-J5700. I just sent a message to @Anonymous and I'm hoping my voice being added to everyone else's helps. This is completely ridiculous!

Has anyone found a solution to this issue.

I got a headache trying to figure out how to fix mine. I finally gave up, googled and found this forum.

Add me to the chorus of folks whose J5700 has gone into the boot loop failure as of 6/17. Very concerning since we have 2 of these units. One is still functioning.

@Anonymous

Hi, I'm another person that their player is not working properly.

I used my player to watch Nflix on 06/17/2020 night and it shut down normal.

I went to power it on last night, 06/18/2020, and the screen came up, (no DVD loaded) highlighted Photos, then turned off/rebooted and screen on TV goes blue then starts over, looping. I googled this immediately and found nothing. Also, last night, I was able to open the DVD slot using the remote removing or placing a DVD in, several times I did this to see if it would change the outcome, it did not. I tried a different HDMI port. Why that would change things... ?  <eyeroll>

This morning, 06/19/2020, same thing, tried numerous buttons on the remote, googled this on the computer and found this message board. Scrolled through and read the over one HUNDRED complaints, possibilities, suggestions.

WE humbly ask for help. If an 'update' was sent through our wifi, how do we undo it? If we can get an update via download to a USB, how do we do that?  Are you all working on it? Not everyone is out of warranty. Not everyone knows they have an issue yet because they've not turned on their machine  or found this site.

Thank you.

I have a Samsung Blu-ray DVD player, Model BD-J5700 Model Code: BD-J5700/ZA

My Samsung BD-5700 is stuck in a loop too. It happend last wek  around June 18 or 19, 2020. Iunplugged it for about a week. I tried to load a dvd, it loads but the player just turns on ond off, I can no longer get the disc to eject. Previously it would eject  then load, then eject, and you could breifly see the menu displayed before it powered off agaoin. Today June 29, 2020, it just cycles on and off.

is this a marketing ploy to get em to purchase a new player? I am wit's end please solve this issue.

I chatted with US Samsung's Care Team through text (text help to 62913) today and after telling them my Blu Ray player was in a boot loop and giving them some basic info, they said they would send me a UPS label and repair it. Hopefully its true!

I have read hundreds of these posts all happening now (June 19, 2020) and you 100% have a huge issue!  Please stop telling people to unplug their device for 5 minutes, you have to determine who likely imbedded a timebomb into a release.  For the many customers affected and millions paid for these devices, I feel sure a solution will not be simple or inexpensive.  Looking forward to you finding the real issue and providing some real assistance.

Will Samsung fix this issue? Obviously with so many people experiencing the same issue the fault is coming from Samsungs end.
