Galaxy WatchI purchased a new Galaxy Watch 46mm and everything is working good except for the wake-up gesture. It probably seems like 1/30 times I can get it to wake up, otherwise not. I looked in the settings and the wake-up gesture is enabled and I tested turning the option off then back on, but no luck.
How can I fix this??

Galaxy WatchSimilar issue - wake up gesture not working nor is the always on feature working. Only way i can get the watch to wake up is to click a button or move the bezel.
Help please or this one gets returned!

Galaxy WatchI turned off dnd and it works now with no issues. I backed up and reset the watch first, then did restored it. Its literally dnd that turns it off, for me at least.

Galaxy Watch- turn the wake-up gesture on again
- switch the watch completely off (hardware button)
- switch the watch on again.
check if e.g. G sleep app, causes this

Galaxy WatchMake sure, that your "Theatre mode" and "good night mode" is off. Go to "galaxy wearable" app in your phone. Then click on settings. Go in advanced settings and then turn off "Theatre mode" and "good night mode". After that your "wake up gesture should be ON. Now your wake up gesture in galaxy watch will work. Take care.

Galaxy WatchIt's rubbish that I have to turn a feature off in order for another to work.
Samsung galaxy need to fix this wake up issue now. My watch is 4 hours old and I'm already over it.

Galaxy WatchMy watch also had the issue with the wake up gesture not working for my 42mm galaxy-watch. I just completed the latest update for my watch and the wake up gesture is now working...I hope it sticks!
