Galaxy WatchYou can force restart the watch by pressing and holding the power button until it reboots. As soon as the screen goes dark, press and hold both buttons to enter recovery mode. This can be a little tricky when rebooting, rather than starting from a shut down watch, but can be done. If you find that difficult, wait a few days for the battery to discharge, then put it on the charger and restart into recovery mode by following the directions below. Resetting the watch is the ONLY way to erase the pin/pattern. Patterns are the easiest method to forget, so I suggest setting a PIN (one that you can remember) instead. You may be able to reset through the wear app, but I don't know if it requires the pattern the way it does when you try to shut it down.

Galaxy WatchI said, wait for the battery to discharge fully, then charge it and start it up per the instructions for entering recovery mode. As I said there is also a method of bypassing the pattern confirmation and forcing a reboot, but it's much trickier to enter recovery mode via that method, although it can be done.

Galaxy WatchI also know you can reset the watch from within the Wear app watch settings, but I do not know if it requires the PIN/pattern confirmation to do so.

Galaxy WatchIf you reset the watch, you have to re-establish you wi-fi network connection. Resetting the watch erases all data, including network and Bluetooth information. Make sure Bluetooth is on on the watch, and then go to the watch settings on the watch, and select "transfer watch to new phone". There is a problem at the moment with the watches being able to be found in Samsung find - which Samsung is barely acknowledging, however, check Google find and see what it says about your watch. Why would you expect the location to change from the time you rebooted to now? You are in the same place. The time will be the last time it was connected to your account, and if you have not logged into your Samsung/Google account it will not be located.

Galaxy WatchThe find app will only show the last location and time it was spotted, so if the watch got turned off or reset, it will only show where and when it was last seen when connected to your account. So, if it is lost and the battery dies, it will only show the last place/time it was pinged. If someone stole it and reset it, it will not be logged into your account and cannot be found. It will be unusable to them because they cannot register it to a new account as long as it is still associated with your account, but they might try. If someone found it/stole it and is using it while logged into your account, and somehow got around your password, that is not a good thing, but you will be able to locate your device and wipe it and/or add a secondary password. If you reset your device and then tried to find it prior to logging the device back into your account, it will still only show the last location and time it was seen while logged in.
