This is something I think the watch has been missing forever, and something I would find VERY helpful.

When my kids wake up in the morning they stroll into my bedroom and start doing all sorts on my watch without waking me up. I have to take my watch off before bed, wait for it to decide it's not on my wrist and lock, then put it back on. Annoying.
I don't need to know how to setup a lock/PIN/pattern. I have this in place. I merely want to be able to put my watch into Lock whenever I want.
I don't see how this could be difficult to implement.
You can turn on sleep mode when you go to sleep. This effectively locks the screen to touches, but can still be turned on by pressing the buttons. Instead of taking your watch off, slip a piece of paper between your watch and wrist until it locks. Less annoying, but effective. I find that my watch locks immediately once I take it off, or it even loosens.
If your children are old enough to run into your room, they are old enough to be told and to understand that they are not to touch your watch. How are they even doing this without waking you up?
In any case you would have to submit feedback to the developers by going to the support tab of the members app and tapping the feedback link.
