From what I've seen so far and also basing on past history I doubt if every feature on the new watch Ultra is going to trickle down to previous years' models.
It's unfortunate, selling the same watch with the same hardware. Maybe Samsung should be the 1st to give ultra owners with last year's version to buy the features ala cart.
I see that Samsung health now has a Labs feature for vascular load and antioxidant index but I don't see anywhere on my watch ultra that you can actually do these things so what am I missing please help thank you
From my understanding those 2 features are suppose to be added in the next major update to the watches and will be included on the new Watch 8 being announced this month on the 9th.

Do you know if it will work on my watch ultra that I just bought or am I going to need to get an upgraded watch ultra because what I was reading was saying that you would need a watch eight or above I don't know how that lines with the ultra I hope my watch has it I mean I just bought it it's a 2025 make. I'll just be really disappointed if they only give it to the brand brand new watches as this is a very expensive watch already and I would love to have those features and would have waited to get a watch if I knew that would be the case
It should once the new OS is released later this year itโs currently in Beta Testing but at the moment itโs unknown what features will be included in every model

If youโre device is eligible when you open the Members app you should see the new beta section if one is available to you it will be listed but at the moment I believe itโs full

Those new features will only work on a watch 8. Anything below does not have the proper sensors, so even participating in a beta will not work for you. New watches get new features and sensors. It's just unfortunate you purchased a watch now. You can likely get a good deal on a trade in during pre ordering.

Well that's very disappointing that thants Samsung won't provide their $649 watch the features that are coming out I could have easily waited but I had no idea that that would be the case I was thinking the top of the line watch ultra would get the necessary software and have sufficient equipment, they've done this before on other items and this is one of the most disappointing features that I've experienced from Samsung. I don't want to trade in the watch as I just paid full price for it so I don't plan on losing that kind of money within the first year. T-Mobile does not give that great of trade-ins especially on watches.
