Just spoke to Samsung and cannot still get a concrete answer about whether are already existing even bought this year watch Ultras will have the new lab features or not I don't know why they can't give us an absolute answer on that they just tell me that hopefully it comes with the one IU8 update so just FYI
I’m not sure but from my understanding those features are in the beta for the watch 7 ultra so I don’t see why they wouldn’t be available in the official release unless something changes

Easy if they told you its coming to the 2024 model ultra, and can get it cheaper, then Samsung would not sell any of the 2025 Ultra watch, if the older one gets all these features also. The why would you ever buy the newer ultra 2? Samsung would be shooting themselves in the foot if they came out now and said yes all these features will work in the present ultra, so keeping a lid on it, then hope to sell the newer version for these extra features
My understanding is the Ultra is the only watch below the 8 that it will work with, as it was manufactured with the same sensors.

I cannot get it to register 3 nights for a baseline. I have the GWU 24 edition in the USA. I have all health features on, power save off, sleep mode on, etc. Current versions of SH and have worn it 5 nights in a row. All other feature's function correctly. Sleep mode works and have no idea what is causing problem. I have S23 Ultra and ONEUI8 on watch.
I got mine with the one UI 8 update. But am I the only one who thinks the Antioxidant feature is off. I get plenty of antioxidants both through food and supplements and it keeps saying mine is low... Please tell me I'm not the only one.
I'd worry about those features after they're tested. I've had the AGEs with Watch 7 but I'm not sure it's accurate or useful. I've heard the new measures are of dubious value, at least right now.
For what it's worth,I suspect if the Watch 7 supports a feature it will eventually appear on it.
I'm still waiting on blood pressure which had been advertised for years. I don't even know if Samsung is still pursuing government approval to enable it in the US. I'll also mention I did the beta test on Watch 6 Classic and it wasn't close enough to accurate to matter, even with frequent calibration with a BP cuff.
I, personally, do not see any value in knowing the AGEs index, the vascular load or the antioxidant index. We all got along just fine without knowing or needing to know those values. The average lay person does not need to know that information, nor would they know what to do with it. The fact of the matter is that we are alive for a finite period of time, and anything learned by knowing these factors is not going to make a significant change in that timeline, so why waste a whole lot of time trying to meet "targets" that may or may not be accurate? None of that will prevent you from getting hit by a bus.
