Galaxy S25I had this issue on my S24 Ultra in late summer, so I decided to trade it in for the S25 Ultra and it's happening straight out of the box. The phone gets really warm and the battery starts dropping at like... 1% every minute or two. Restarting the phone stops it for a little while but then it keeps doing it. I've included the battery graph, and you can see it just randomly curve down. Does anyone know what could be causing this? My Pixel 8 gets better battery life at this point!

Galaxy S25I got it out the box early this morning and had the exact same thing, it was so hot to handle, I would not be able to put that next to my ear. Additionally mine seems struggle charging around 74% mark with fast charger took 50mins to increase a further 1% seemed to improve when taking it off charge and letting it cool the charging again, but I am not impressed by this feels like S7 edge all over again.
You shouldn't need to worry about using the phone, my z fold 6 lasted longer than this and did not start to burn my hand. I will give it a few more days buts it's not looking good.

Some things that can help with Battery optimization, if you're just having a battery draining issue, is the following:
Note: The battery adaptive feature may cause the battery to drain a little faster at first until the phone adapts to your usage, and learns how you're operating, the charge will be stored and used in different manners based on how you use your phone. This sometimes can take a few weeks for it to learn the habits and customize itself to make sure you have the best performance and lasting battery.
