Missing charging animation

I just got my new s25ultra and my charging animation on the bottom of the phone was working. But I was having another problem so I did a factory reset and not it doesn't show up I have it working on top any ideas I have everything turned on that I have read about it frustrating thanks all

The lighting bolt sometimes appears, sometimes it doesn’t. 

When it doesn't,  the battery level will show for example 16% for around 10 minutes, then the bolt will suddenly appear and the battery level will then go straight up to 67%.

The pill is also random, whether the screen be on or off, but I know it's charging because AOD displays "Super Fast Charging 2.0" despite still not having the bolt in the battery pill.

This issue is happening since April's firmware update, on my S25 Ultra.

I only use the official Super Fast Charger and original cable, too.

The issue is that this is very long-winded just to check if the phone is actually charging... I thought the idea of a Now bar was to have information now 😞

@ElDodrigo76 Did you wipe the device cache partition after the update? I recommend that you do this after every device update. It wipes out incompatible or outdated cache information which might be incompatible after the update. It does not erase any user data nor applications.

To wipe the device cache partition:

1. Power off your device.
2. Power up while holding down the Volume up key and the Side key until the Samsung logo appears. 
3. An Android recovery menu will appear.
4. Use the Volume down key to scroll down to Wipe cache partition.
5. Click the side key to select it.
6. Use the Volume down key to scroll down to Yes. 
7. Click the side key to select it. The Cache will be wiped almost instantaneously. 
8. Click the side key to select "Reboot system now"

You *do* have an idea.  First, it makes a sound (unless you have your system sounds off). Second, it has a different animation - it's a bar that shows your current battery level and and the lightening bolts.  After it disappears it shows the usual text that your phone is charging and how long it will take to full charge.  If your screen is on the home screen, the battery pill changes color and animates then shows the lightening bolt. The turquoise color shows it's fast/super fast charging.  Normal charging shows green.

For me I found that the charging animation does not display if I set lock screen notifications to hide. Charging animation works perfectly when I set lock screens notifications to show content and removing all apps for privacy reasons,now it works perfectly! Also note that if you disabled animations you also won't be able to use/see this feature. Also mind your animation settings in dev settings, the animation is very short in my opinion at .5x but 1x it's perfect .

It shows on my AOD, and I imagine it would also show on the black screen, if you have it set to show charging information.
