Location icon constantly keeps popping up

I have noticed that on this latest update the location icon keeps popping up in the status bar more than what it should be it didn't do that before this update is anyone experiencing the same issue

What's interesting is that it's always on for the S25 series. On older models, it displays only when location is being accessed and disappears otherwise.

Its also always on with the Fold 5's also

But only if one has their location turned on in the quick panel settings. If it is turned off, neither the home screen icon nor the green one in the quick panel will show up. Aside from using QuickStar to remove the visibility of the home screen icon when it is turned on, there is no way to turn off the green one which is intentional.

It's because "phone services" is constantly using location. This new one ui update has nuked my phone battery. My phone drains so fast now bc of the constant location. Samsung needs to fix this asap.

It's been reported that a fix for the battery drain is being worked on. It was originally expected to be rolled out with the May update. It's now more likely to come out in June.

Hello, the location icon is on on the top bar since yesterday and no matter if I restart the phone or do a cache cleaning it is staying there. Do you know how can have it not showing there?

See what app is using it
