Ads/Pop Ups when I charge my phone.

I have a Samsung Galaxy s25 Ultra and about 3 days ago, it started acting weird. Every time I plug my charger into my phone, an ad pops up. I have tried a LOT of different ways to stop it. I was told it could be a third party app. I tried to boot it in safe mode to find the culprit. Can't find it. I don't know what to do. Is anyone else having this problem? I have a scree recording of what's going on but can't upload it. I'm tired of the ads/pop ups. Can someone PLEASE help me? And I uninstalled Chrome because that was the main pop up/ad I was getting. I STILL got pop ups after doing that.

Hold the notification down until it highlights. You should see a gear. Tap the gear. It should give you the app that gives you the advertising

You can also go into the app section in settings and look for apps and uninstalling ones you dont recognize and uninstall the ones allowed to(some are system apps and can't be uninstalled).

It was a Routine that was set up. I don't even know how it was created. I deleted it and it back to normal. Thank you all for your help.

Happy to hear everything is now working normally! Do you remember what the routine was programmed to do? I'm just curious. 🙂

It was something like If the phone is charging, open some random site. I can't remember all of it. Here is a screenshot of some it what I remembered seeing.

@MrPace  Sounds just like what was happening on my dad's phone. Every time he plugged it in or used wireless charging, YouTube and websites would start popping up. It was strange that it started happening while we were driving down the road.

Check your.
Routines, there may be a hidden routine there.I think it has to do with a battery setting called adaptive battery.I think they jumped the gun and I think it's interfering

Is anyone else having issues while plugging phone to charger? When I go to plug my phone (Galaxy s21) on the charger, for some unknown reason it randomly gets connected to a web page or youtube. Is there a way to fix it? Please help. It's annoying. Thanks in advance ☺️
