Do you need to buy a a base? I just got my phone yesterday and when I took it out of the box, I noticed that both ends are the same size and fit into the phone. There isn't a larger size that fits the standard base I've used with my other Galaxy phones. Is there a different power base I need to buy or just use my old charger? What have other people done???

You have to buy a USB C charging block.

@JennRell Yes, you need to buy a power adapter with the USB C output if you don't have one. USB C has become the standard for USB connections.

All data/charging cords included with Samsung phones are now USB-C to C. If you want to use that cord, you will need a new charger. You can get one directly from Samsung or buy a third-party charger. Anker and Ugreen are reliable brands and are often on sale at Amazon and other retailers.

I don't have one for the output. Guess I need to spend another $50. Does anyone have recommendations on where to buy the charger and a case for a good price?

Best Buy, you just need a 25watt Samsung, they aren't to much

Check Amazon. If you're looking for a case, Spigen makes great products for not a lot of money.

Thanks, but I think I need USB C to USB C. I'll have to check the charging cable. I'll also check out Walmart. Thanks so much for the heads up!!!
