Galaxy S24Sometimes internal damage does not show up immediately. Drops can weaken internal components or connections and may not become apparent until much later.

Galaxy S24Does the notification give you any indication of what the issue is? Have you run diagnostics on the phone to see what hardware is affected? You can bring it to a repair service (you can find authorized service centers in the support tab of the Members app). Any repairs will be chargeable, but certainly will be less than a new device. If repair costs approach the cost of a new device (especially during holiday sale season), you are likely better off just buying a new device. Meanwhile if your phone is still usable in its current state, use it. But the sooner you take it in for a repair, the less additional damage will be done.

Galaxy S24Can you provide a screen shot? Also there are other ways to check the battery percentage - you can place a battery widget on your screen temporarily until we figure out what the symbol is and why it's there.

Galaxy S24Well, if it won't show up in screen shots it's not a screen defect.
It's always there?
In all aps and on the home screen?
Just for the record, have you tried switching to dark mode to see if the corner is still obscured?
Does it remain when you pull down the quick panel?
Have you cleared the phone's cache partition?
Have you restarted your phone in safe mode to see if it's still there?

Galaxy S24If booting into safe mode does not clear up the issue, nor does clearing the phone's cache partition. You should put in an error report. https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/How-to-Send-Feedback/ba-p/3001692
Your logs will be automatically collected and uploaded and you can also attach that photo (or a better one), but you might want to rotate it 180 degrees so that it's top side up.
