Galaxy S24Sounds like a Bluetooth issue.
Try 'reset Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings' in Settings.

Galaxy S24Agree with this. My car is a 2022 Chevy Traverse which DOES play nice with Android Auto. Multiple times now I have had issues with either the connection not working properly or breaking and "sort of" working, but not really. Car/phone bluetoothe connections were flawless and stable before the update.
Can I revert to UI 7? UI 8 doesn't have enough improvements to be worth it.

Galaxy S24I will post instructions on what to do later. Not in this for the money. Cuz I know we all love our setups and this was not a funny mishap on Samsung part for all of us. I need to replace my car battery, it died today from this constant on and off testing and its also a 9 year old battery. By the way, Like the Video so I can gauge how widespread this issue is.
Here are the instructions...
I take no responsibility for the following instructions. Though the end result for me, I was able to get my head unit in my car to connect automatically to my phone and allowed me once again to stream my music apps and talk on the phone through my cars sound system like I did before the UI 8 update.
I am using a Samsung S24 Ultra, what you may have may be different but the instructions should be pretty similar if using a Android Operating system. Also, this may not work for everyone.
Goto SETTINGS
Scroll all the way to the bottom, and Tap on โAbout Phoneโ
Scroll down and Tap โSoftware Informationโ
Scroll down to โBuild numberโ and Tap it 7 or more times till it ask for YOUR PASSORD
Once you have enter your password, it will say โDevelopers Option is Unlockedโ
Now at the top of your phone, Tap the arrow on the left of Software Information to go back to About Phone, then Tap the left arrow next to About Phone
You should now be back at Settings, scroll all the way to the bottom and you will see โDevelopers optionsโ
[okay, so again, I take no responsibility. Once you are in Develops option, if you decide to tap on other stuff that I have not given any instruction for and you change those parameters and your phone takes a dump. ITโS NOT MY FAULT.]
Tap โDevelopers optionsโ
Carefully scroll down to the 57th line, it should say โBluetooth AVRCP Versionโ yours should say below that AVRCP 1.5(Default)
Tap on โBluetooth AVRCP Versionโ
Now change it from 1.5 to 1.3 then back out of all of this and RESTART your phone.
If everything is done right. Your head unit should be able to link with your phone automatically on startup of your vehicle.
[you can search online about Bluetooth AVRCP Version, and you can read up about the different versions]

Galaxy S24I contacted Samsung support about the same issue. They told me that i paired my Bluetooth wrong. They were right. I have the exact same car, a 2010 Mazda 3 hatchback. If you look at the manual for this car (page 295 of 504), you need to pay careful attention to step 3. It says "Press the audio control dial while โPIN 0000โ is displayed." I didn't do this. I wasn't able to re-pair Bluetooth to the car. Once i did this, my phone (a 2022 S22 ultra) could pair with the car.
Alternatively, you can use the "Speak" button, upper top left of your steering wheel, to pair the Bluetooth. Try this youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOOcbx-vwYE&t=7s
Hope it helps.
