Samsung has to stop adding more Google products /features, if I wanted to be spy on, I would have gotten a Pixel phone. Google is the most intrusive and abusive of personal data.

Samsung, just be Samsung.

Why did you buy a phone with a Google operating system? You buy any Android phone, you will get Google products. Do you not understand how that works?

I would very much like to see a detailed data set showing the overlap between "I DON'T WANT GOOGLE ON MY GOOGLE PHONE" and
"MARK ZUCKERBERG YOU DO NOT HAVE MY PERMISSION TO LOOK AT MY FACEBOOK ACCOUNT COPY & PASTE IF YOU AGREE"

Funny, but genuinely such an intriguing mindset that someone would buy/use products that are heavily or entirely dependent on services from companies they don't want to do business with.

I never even understood that whole thing. Why sign up for a platform where you have to agree to the TOS - which includes permission for data sharing - put your personal stuff out for all the world to see and then put up a statement like that for the site owner?

Because the TOS are not read, nor are they understood.

Which, let's be honest, is a real problem. Very few people are going to read through pages and pages of stipulations legal jargon before using every single service they sign up for.

I understand not wanting to fully read the TOS, but by now they have pretty standard language, and data sharing is pretty much baked in, and everyone should know that. If they read nothing else, they should scan for the part about how their data is collected and used, and the opt out options and legal recourse (litigation vs. arbitration)

Of course, at this point in the game, people should have a general idea what they are signing up for (no expectation of privacy) even if they don't fully read the TOS.

Operating System Android, not the same as Google ecosystem.

Google owns the Android platform.  It is, indeed, the same ecosystem.  That is why ALL Android phones have Google apps integrated into them.

Think its either ios or apple vs Google i.e android as the main operating system choices but there could be other options
