Normally when search for tags within the samsung gallery app for photos I have tagged I get the results I tagged with a few not related images thrown in. No big issue. Now, if a word I used to tag a photo appears ANYWHERE on an image in my gallery it floods the search results not showing me what I was looking for. I didn't ask the app by clicking the little yellow T to scan the text. I didn't select for the AI to be doing this. And worst of all I called samsung and they gave me instructions showing they don't even know the layout of options of their app as a fix. They want me to click the 3 dots in the top right ignoring that samsung forced everything to be bottom justified now and redesigned their icon system so its not 3 dots. They tell me to go into the ai settings and disable the search related settings which would be a great common sense fix. Guess what, Samsung did not give us that option. The fact that their own phone support is telling me to do things that you cannot goes to show the amount of thought put into these redesigns of working features. Apparently the if its not broke don't fix it rule does not apply to the current leadership there taking a if it works mess with it approach. No one can explain why the phone is actively scanning my images to give me search results when I put a # to indicate search the tags. Making me required to use a # to find tags was annoying. Making it impossible to use is just offensive.
