I updated to one UI7 last night and now my battery while on idle is draining extremely fast.

Had I known this would be an issue I would have never updated to this crappy software.

This is a major issue and like I said I can notice the extreme battery drain while the phone is idle.

If Samsung doesn't fix this issue I will be filing a claim as to me this is now a defective item that they caused.

I've recently updated my phone to One UI 7. Has anyone experienced their phone getting really hot and battery drainage? I experienced this yesterday and since then my battery is draining pretty quickly. Any suggestions?

Yes it is horrible, phone is overheating daily now. Anytime it starts overheating I have to clear out all apps in order for the phone to start cooling down. SAMSUNG PLEASE HEAR US. We have flagship phones of 1300 dollars plus in the USA and we can't even watch YouTube for an hour without the Phone overheating. You MUST fix this asap. Or you will have a Mass Exit of Customers. This is not ok at all. I have 3 devices of s24U in my family and all 3 are doing it. Fix IT period.

During and after a major update, the phone always gets hot.  It's the processor working overtime.  When the phone gets hot, and the processor is working harder, the battery drains faster.  The phone does not stop doing stuff just because the update was installed and the phone rebooted - it's still doing stuff in the background, putting stuff in place and looking for more updates and updates to your apps, all while you are using your phone normally.  Or would you prefer a 3-hour period of time where you cannot use your phone because it's busy installing stuff (like the old windows installations)?  The battery drains faster because of all that and because you are still using your phone normally (probably a little more than normal, while you set things up).  After an update of this type, the phone now also has to relearn your usage patterns.  After a few days or a week, your battery life will normalize. Meanwhile, your phone should only get hot during the initial setup period, maybe for an hour or two.  If it was seriously overheating, it would just turn itself off to protect itself. If you want to cool it faster, stick it in the fridge.

UI7 has messed up my s24 ultra. Tons of issues and the ugliest and the worst experience design ever. Period.

I can't understand how incompetent of Samsung to allow to release this. I sense HTC vibe from Samsung in recent years. Fail after fail, slowly going down.
