I updated to one UI7 last night and now my battery while on idle is draining extremely fast.

Had I known this would be an issue I would have never updated to this crappy software.

This is a major issue and like I said I can notice the extreme battery drain while the phone is idle.

If Samsung doesn't fix this issue I will be filing a claim as to me this is now a defective item that they caused.

Because it brings better performance overall in comparison between one ui 6.1 and one ui 7.0

Go to settings and then Apps, search for play services, scroll down to "app details in store" then uninstall (this will reset play services to default) update after and reboot your phone. This should improve a bit your battery life

On One UI 6, once the battery hit 5%, I would still have about half an hour to an hour before charging the phone. After the One UI 7 update, once my phone hits 5%, the battery drains very quickly—the numbers change rapidly on the screen. I have about three to four minutes to charge it. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

More new items are running in the background. Deep sleep apps not using regularly should help.

It is really never a good idea to run your battery that low. It will stress the battery.

I understand; however, it must be a bug. No other brand seems to have this issue; only Samsung devices. Apple certainly does not have this problem. And I'm talking you can see 5% and then it goes to 2% within seconds.
