Is it possible to turn off read receipts only for one contact S24 PLUS?

Hi! 

I'm a new Samsung user - i have an S24 plus and I am loving it so far

I want to turn off read receipts for one contact tho, i can only find the option to turn it off for everyone

But I only want to turn it off for one contact

Sorry, it is not possible. All on or all off is the only option!

Unfortunately it's not possible. But you can silence notifications from that contact.

If the recipient has RCS on an Android phone you can switch them to SMS specifically (which will turn off the read receipts)

If they have an iPhone with RCS then you don't really have an option

Not sure about that the rcs feature is either off or on dint think there's a option to apply or not apply to individuals there is however a sns or mms for those not having rcs by carrier or turned off or messages fir example

Set up you notifications on that message app to be a pop up then it will be in notification panel then read what you want of the message and swipe it away it won't tip off the read receipt setting. Just a little hack

Pretty unfortunate that it's either all on or off 

I hope Samsung changes that soon
