I've taken notice over the past few months that the spell check feature is wrong about 60-70% of the time. What do I mean by this? There have been multiple times where spell check has given me the wrong way to spell words even if I spelled it correctly. I dont add words to the spell check like I know you can. So in my opinion they need to get rid of Ai in the keyboard its noticing a lot of people spelling **bleep** wrong and its adjusting its algorithm to send the wrong way to spell to everyone

Do you mean spell check or auto correct?  If spell check is giving you a spelling you know is wrong, you can ignore it.  If autocorrect is replacing your words with the wrong spelling, you can either correct the spelling or turn auto correct off.  In the dark ages, we did our own proofreading and spelling correction.

Its both to be honest it suggests the wrong word then id say about 50% of the time it autocorrects to the wrong word. I've also lived in the dark days didnt even have a hoise computer or internet until I was in high school but the point of this technology is to make life easier not harder especially for someone like me who suffers from dyslexia

Do you not think that Spell Check, grammar check and Auto-correct did not originate as an early form of AI?

But, we aren't in the dark ages anymore. Samsung keyboard is still light years behind GBoard. Especially when it comes to voice typing. How is it almost 2026 and you can't speak naturally and have Samsung keyboard add punctuations yet. Samsung has decided we aren't going to do that, we will just give you spelling and grammar after the fact.

When voice typing first came out for computers, there was Dragon Naturally Speaking.  It punctuated perfectly whether or not you actually spoke the punctuation (and, it understood "new paragraph").  If they could do it then for a computer program, they can certainly do it for a phone's voice engine.

I actually paid the price for Dragon. It was invented for those that didn't have the ability to type. Microsoft owns it now.

So does that mean it could be part of Swiftkey.

No, separate. Nuance Communications ( Dragon) is strictly used in commercial usage only now. Specifically heathcare and Enterprise products.

Shame, it was the first and best.
