Abnormal battery drain

I'm experiencing abnormal battery drain courtesy of "downloads" and.I can't figure out why this is going on.

Anyone have ideas as to potential solutions?

I think these are ai bots sent to gaslight users. They know they **bleep** our battery life and they send these ai bots to fight

Why are the batteries depleting so fast on my S24? When 1st purchased, I bet the battery could last a couple days or more, now I'll be lucky to make it thru the day?

Did you recently update your phone? After a major update (like One UI 7,) the adaptive battery feature resets and needs to relearn your usage patterns. This can lead to increased battery drain for a week or two until your phone adapts again.

@MrAntPerky Are you using the device in the same way that you did when you 1st purchased it? Battery life is highly dependent on the usage pattern. 

After using a device for a while we tend to add apps. Any number of those could be contributing to the higher battery drain.

It's just that I may not be using an app, the phone is sitting there, not being used, but battery is depleting. Prob apps running in the background I guess?
