yesterday i broke my s23, i dont use cloud backup so all my info is in my phone. black screen . but this morning it rang, i had no way to answer it. i went and got a new phone but need to access my data on the old one. how can i transfer data off the broken phone onto my laptop or usb or straight to my new phone.
i dont want to take it to a guy. id rather do it myself.
I couldn't figure out how to do it myself. When you plug in into a laptop via USB it just brings up the folders like from a regular computer database. So it wasnt going to transfer everything i needed like smartswitch would. I ended up getting frustrated and just took it the Samsung rep at best buy. Free of charge.
Sorry this happened to you, and unfortunately, without any interaction from the screen, there is no way to extract the data from your phone unless the hard drive is physically removed. I have to ask this question, especially with your situation now, how did you justify not having any cloud backup?
