Verizon Failed January Update

Trying to update my S23 Ultra with the most recent update but it keeps failing. I have a locked Verizon phone. Everytime I try to update, it's super slow and eventually fails giving my "Error Code: 407". I tried clearing cache, clearing data, restarting my phone, using Smart Switch, switching between wifi and data, switching between different wifi networks. I have enough space on my phone (300gb free). If I knew what the error code meant, I could diagnose further. Google hasn't been helpful. Samsung support hasn't been helpful. They are telling me to manually flash my device but I wanna leave that as a last resort. Any suggestions?

I have the S21plus and I'm having trouble with downloading it. I keep getting error messages of 500 and 407. I've rebooted the phone, etc and I've spoken with both Samsung Care (who pointed me to Verizon) and Verizon. Verizon said I'm not the only one dealing with this and said it has to be on Samsung's end. Anyone else going through this?

S24 ultra on Verizon going through the same issues. Android 15 isn't ready for us lol

Hmm..so it comes with Android 15? The Samsung rep seemed to imply they weren't related. Maybe they are..

Sure it's a mistake. Even tho the release or the unpacked event was today I don't think they meant to release this. The beta isn't finished I don't think but mine did say android 15 and I'm trying it again now

S23 Ultra. Same issue. Error code 500 and 412? Contacted VZW tech support. No help. Contacted Samsung tech support. They can't figure out out either. Told me to take it to a physical Samsung authorized dealer.

Just about everyone is having this issue. On s22, 23 and 24. Even the ultra models. Samsung released a faulty update. All we can do is wait.

Had the same issue on my Galaxy S23 Ultra.  Finally solved the problem by clearing data on the Device Care app, rebooting and then using Smart Switch through a USB to my Windows 11 PC.  The Smart Switch app prompted with an "Upgrade" button upon connection, and then proceeded with a backup to the PC followed by a successful upgrade.
