Texting issue after ui 8 update

Having an issue sending texts after latest ui update also my wife who has a S22 Ultra mine is a S25 ultra we have the same issues tried resetting the APN and Clearing Cache Partition and still have issues

Play System updates are where Google fixes and adds things.

It is in security and privacy section of settings. The last one will be Google Play System, open it and check for updates.

I am having the same exact issues. Galaxy 22 ultra. Can't send any messages outside of RCS. I have jumped through every hoop including getting verizon to reset my phone with a new esim. Nothing worked. They have escalated it to a case manager. Not being able to message my kids in over 24hrs is frustrating to say the least.

I have tried uninstalling, clearing, resetting, 3 different text apps, with and without RCS, all with the same result.  It has happened on my S22 and now on new S25.  Same results, both phones.  Samsung wants me to reset everything and I will not unless I absolutely have to.  I don't think this is phone based, or RCS. I think its an error with ui update but they won't ever admit to a problem on their end.
