As of January 2026 I no longer have a share tab in the bottom tray when watching you tube videos. 

Running latest version software UI 8.0. 

I looked for an update tab in playstore - not available. 

How can this be fixed. I can't uninstall you tube because it's tied to Google. 

I don’t think I can uninstall Google. I'd really have a hornets nest then.

I just checked and the share icon (curved arrow) is there for me.

Try clearing cache for YouTube if it's not showing up for you. Long press the YT icon, tap the circled 'i,' scroll to Storage and clear cache.

What the heck in the world is wrong with ME. I've been looking for the old typed SHARE button, not a backward pointing arrow..
