Galaxy S22Last week there was a security update for my S22 ultra. Prior to the patch the phone worked great. Following the patch the phone crashes multiple times per hour.
Switching apps seems to be a large cause.
When I switch apps the phone lags significantly, taking up to a minute to open. It is frozen during this time. If I hit the back button or home button the phone crashes and reboots.
I tried increasing the performance and clearing memory. Nothing has improved its condition.
I have had this phone for 2.5 years. It is too soon to upgrade. Everything was fine, now it is past sluggish and is not able to be uses as a phone. Something as simple as opening the camera can crash it.

Galaxy S22In my case I have tried it and it still didn't work. I factory reset my phone and it still didn't work. So in my case it appears to be a bigger more serious issue. The phone was great though. even the days follow the security patch for one UI 7. It was running smoothly and really conserving battery. Then one day I was opening the camera, it was slow and lagging and the phone was heating. Then it started crashing and restarting over and over again. Now I barely can use the phone. I can't load regular apps like WhatsApp or even google. Sometimes it runs fast, then I open the settings app or the notification bar and I start getting failures. I don't know what else to do

Galaxy S22Unfortunately no. All of the fixes that were recommended only lasted a short while.
I bought a S25 Ultra. I was not ready to upgrade but the ohone was unusable. Sorry for the lack of good news.
