OneUI 8 Secure Folder Downgrade

I really want to know why they nerfed Secure Folder in OneUI 8. Before, it would lock when you exited and would not show the window preview on the Recent Apps screen. Now, it only locks when you turn off the phone OR after a set time. Because of this, the windows are always visible while it's unlocked. 

Now, why did they do this? What was wrong with the old system? I prefer it locking as soon as I leave the app. There isn't even an option to change it back. If someone snatches my phone while I am in or was in the app recently, they now have full access to everything in there.

So much for a "Secure" Folder.

If you go into the secure folder settings, you can change the time at which it automatically locks.

Lock secure folder when leaving app was removed because there is an option to lock and exit and lock when screen is off. I agree this is an issue that degrades the security of the secure folder. We are working on bringing this feature back but in the meantime, you can set it to lock when screen off and just press the power button to turn off screen and when you wake the screen, youll be prompted to enter password. 🖖🏻

I had to change it to lock after 5 minutes. That way it will lock in 5 min and don't have to turn the screen off and back on.
But there still should be a Lock on exit automatically like before
