I have an A54 and it was installed on my phone. I got my phone, though, before they made the decision to let Messages fade away. It has not been removed in the update. I don't use it. I only ever open it if I want to help someone with a setting or see what thay are referring to. I have always used Google messages, since my first Android phone. Which, funny enough, happened to be a Samsung. I think it was before they made their own messaging app. Smart phones were in their infancy.

If you don't see it, your phone is no longer eligible to download it. They brought it back for the S24s and 25s only. Everyone else has to use Google messages now, or a messaging app of their choosing. Only Google has RCS, though.
