I saw a video on YouTube and I decided to give it a try. If you go into Developer Options, and then find the "Drawing" section, there is a setting called "Minimum Width". From what the video says, you can change that value somewhere between 300 and 400, it expressly says do not go below 300 and do not go above 400. I found lowering the value causes the battery icon to get slightly larger, but it also impacts font size. So I tried playing around with the values and the font sizes and finally found settings on each that were acceptable with the battery icon about 33% larger. If anyone has any more information on this I would be grateful if you would share it.
