I have it on my home screen. Im just wondering why it's not in galaxy store. It use to be on Google play store...

Its not in the Google Store because its a Samsung App.  Samsung Apps are in the Galaxy Store

There are many Samsung apps in the Google Play Store. Samsung Messages is not in the Play Store or the Galaxy Store except for S25 phones because Samsung is trying to phase it out.

Sorry I misremembered that. It's S24 and S25. It's not available for phones older than that like my S23+.
