How do I turn off auto phone call recording? I've tried and can't get it to disable

Sorry but call recording isn’t automatic you have to tap the call record but on every call

Actually it automatically starts on every call within 5 seconds.

I’ve never seen it be automatic on every phone I have contact with it’s an icon that pops up and you have to tap it to start recording it doesn’t automatically start recording.

And I have access to the Fold 5's S24's and a S25 and its never been automatic on any of those  if it was automatic everyone would be complaining about it.

My samsung s25+ auto records calls when I don't watch it to. Can find a way to turn off. Over it

Sorry but you are accidentally hitting the button to record since call recording isn't automatic the button has to be pressed to start recording.  Your only option would be switch to the Google phone dialer and set it as the default dialer.

Gary... Wrong wrong wrong. My Samsung flip also automatically records... If I select "record calls" option in the phone app there is no option to turn on or off. Maybe dig a little deeper?

The only way is to press the button to start call recording they are no options for automatic call recording.
