Randomly I would get spam messages that turns on the phone and then keeps it awake.
I don't think these are SMS.
I am going to attach the links here so you guys can see them down below.  I have no idea what app causes this or if it is integrated into the system. Can you guys please help me remove / turn this off?

Download Good Lock's Nice Catch module from the Galaxy store and turn on toast history and detect commercials to find the offending app.

While you are in the nice catch settings, also turn on the "screen wakeup history"

Thanks!  Will turn that on!

I think it is gonna take awhile because those spam messages kinda pop up very randomly during the week and there is periods where it gets quiet before they come up again.

Yes it may take a while, because it can only be captured when it happens.

Alright it finally popped up again. Good Catch told me it was "SimToolKit" and a quick google search yields a lot of results from people online saying the exact same thing. Apparently it is your celluar provider that is using this app to send you advertisement garbage.

Not sure if this was a good idea but I used ABD AppControl to disable SimToolKit for now, and if it causes and problems will just enable it again later. Seems fine for now.

Thanks again for the suggestion and help!

You must have a carrier phone. if disabling the app causes issues (it should not), then if you have to re-enable it, just disable notifications from the app. If you don't have norification categories on, you might not be able to disable all notifications, but with categories on you can disable all or mistcategories
