  • A14-5g battery charging extremely slow all of the sudden. Also  will not recognize or receive power from battery pack which I've used numerous times in the past

Is the phone turned off when you charge 🤔. Also, you can adjust charge settings.

Yes as stated in op it is turned off and will only charge then, albeit very very slowly

1% every 20m or so

If the charging cord was pulled or bumped near the port, it could have bent the internal pins, causing a poor connection. My A13 was charging slowly, and that was the problem. Another possibility, have you tried getting a different charging cable? It could just be the cable connection is a bit worn.

Hello, Welcome and thank you for being part of the Community. We understand the concern of experiencing the charging and battery drain issues.

Here is an article that provides troubleshooting for charging concerns: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/my-device-is-charging-slowly-not-switching-on-or-k...

We have a solution thread for battery drain here: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Fold-Flip-Phones/Battery-draining-faster-after-One-UI-7-update/m...

We also recommend running the Diagnostics and Submitting Feedback under the Support Tab in the Members App.

If the troubleshooting does not help, it is recommended to have the phone serviced. You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S. that can do the repair: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location or by contacting customer support at 1-800-726-7864.

For international customers, please use this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html
