I work for a small charity and we have some old A04s kicking about that i was keen to reuse for new staff.
Went to factory reset one and it seems to have a long gone member of staffs gmail added, of course we dont have the password or access to this account.
Is there any other way to reset this or do we just need to buy a new handset? (we do need it reset as need access to play store for specific apps)
For security Google is not going to do that they're going to say you need to contact the original owner of the device and get them to do a reset on it they're not going to reset a device just because you call in
This is a charity. Donations are not always by people that leave their name, address, and phone number. Google will help a charity out. Samsung support will help them out too , once the charity is established by them.
To get functional, the phone both Goggle and Samsung accounts have to be removed, just like the phone was being resold to a person or business.
