Is it possible to remove carrier firmware from Tab s8+? Cannot not use all functions with my new carrier. Had tablet unlocked by previous carrier but I guess that's not enough.

You can use Odin to flash an unlocked firmware version onto your tablet but it will of course void any warranty.  Google instructions.
