Not quite sure I understand your question but I'll take a stab at it. If you want to get mobile data you will need to have a mobile data plan from your carrier. However, I believe you can tether it to your phone and use your mobile data that way.

I want to connect to my mobile network on my tablet but I do not have an option to do that. Everything I've read said there should be an option under connections, data usage, but all I have is wi-fi

The tablet needs to have a SIM card that's activated by your cellular carrier. It's an added fee to your bill to use it. A good way around that is to use the hotspot on your phone.

Hi there, I want to thank everyone for their very helpful response and will have to agree. In order to access the mobile network, you will need to contact your carrier to proceed in that aspect or use the hotspot as mentioned. I also found these articles below that are very informative and resourceful regarding using the tablet to phone or phone to tablet feature as well. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00083152/ and https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00048749/

What is the full part number (model number) of your tablet?

Your tablet may also be a wifi only tablet, meaning it wasn't purchased from a carrier. If that's the case, you'll only be able to connect to wifi or, if your phone plan supports this feature, utilize mobile hot spot on your phone and connect that way.

You have to go through your mobile carrier.
