Hi all

Recently converted from Google Pixel to Samsung with the Fold7. It's been great.

I'm having an issue where Samsung Health refuses to write sleep data to Health Connect.

I play Pokémon Sleep, the galaxy watch and Samsung health are compatible with it, but Samsung health only seems to write step data to Health Connect and I cannot find a way to force it to do anything else.

Having a look online other people seem to be having the same issue recently too.

I've cleared cache, reset permissions, rebooted the devices and apps and no luck.

Any help appreciated, I can't play my favourite game now which is disappointing because I didn't have this issue with my Pixel watch using Fitbit.

Check and Re-grant Permissions in Health Connect:

1. Open the Health Connect app.

2.Tap on "Data and access" at the bottom.

3.Select "Sleep" from the list of data types.

4.Tap "Data sources and priority".

5.Make sure Samsung Health is at the top of the priority list for sleep data.

6.Go back to the main Health Connect screen, tap "App permissions".

7.Find and tap on Samsung Health.

8.Ensure the "Sleep" switches for reading and writing are enabled.

You can see the data that has transferred by going to Health Connect, clicking Data and Access and clicking Sleep, you should see the data from days past. And it will show where the data is from. I also use an app called Health Sync that works very well.
