Samsung Apps and ServicesI am using Galaxy Fit 3 with Samsung Health and Health Connect.
Samsung Health measures heart rate continuously and also shows my Resting Heart Rate correctly inside the Samsung Health app. However, in Health Connect, Samsung Health has no option to write Resting Heart Rate, it can only read it.
Because of this:
1. Samsung Health does not export RHR to Health Connect
2. Google Fit calculates its own estimated RHR and writes it
3. Health Connect ends up showing Google Fitโs value, which is inaccurate compared to Samsung Health
Heart rate and sleep data sync fine; only Resting HR is affected.
Questions:
1. Is Samsung Health intentionally not writing Resting Heart Rate to Health Connect?
2. Are there plans to support RHR write in future updates?
3. What is the recommended setup when Samsung Health is the primary source?
At the moment, Health Connect displays misleading resting HR data despite Samsung Health having better raw HR data.
