Reposting since there's very old posts requesting this and it hasn't been added.
Samsung health won't read or write hydration data from health connect. Pretty much any other health app / wearable will sync hydration data from health connect.
There's also a lot of other data not included but I'm more concerned about my water intake showing up on my watch. Isn't it as simple as the devs enabling the missing data?
I noticed this today after struggling to figure out why the water intake on my Fit 3 wasn't updating to other apps. Samsung makes a Fit that also tracks water data... are they this dumb? Tracking water can't surely be something they're trying to proprietize....
I'm truly regretting buying a Samsung Fit. It doesn't work well with ANY other apps. I'm almost ready to switch to Apple.
