Please include guests mode to ui 7 or multiuser feature other small phone have it talk less of High cost phone. I hear the feature is included in iPad thanks
This, especially the way the notifications/quick settings menus are, seems like a regression from the last update. It feels like they just needed something to put out so they just made the phone worse.
My Galaxy Phone and Tablet were just updated to One UI 7.0/Android 15. I do not like the new Pill Shaped Icons. I like the classic Rounded Rectangles.
Can Samsung roll out an update in OneUI version 7 to give us the option to have rounded corners or set the amount of roundness in corners that can range from Pill Shape to Sharp Boxes and Rounded Square/Rectangular Corners.
Hello. I accidentally updated my phone to UI 7.0 this morning and it is really really bad. I could not find another place to put feedback (Samsung, you should have a place to give feedback on your stuff) so here. The new UI is nonsensical to me. I have 3 main issues. Firstly, the app icons did not need to be changed. It seems like you guys just needed something to do. Second, the search is now on the bottom of the screen on both the app part and in the settings app. That does not make sense and makes it feel more like an obstruction of the screen rather than a search function. Most people are probably looking at the top of their screen for search, since it's that way in literally everything else. It makes no sense. And, the cherry on top, the split of the notifications and the quick settings. This decision feels like a genuine regression rather than something updated. This feels like what the ui would be before it would be updated to the compact version. It makes absolutely no sense to do it this way. It also presents accessibility issues for people like me who genuinely need those things in one place (I won't get too much into it because I dont particularly want to out myself here). Also, it is unnecessarily difficult to open one versus the other. I will try to open the quick settings about 20 times and only get it once, every other time accidentally opening notifications. (I just tried again and I can't open the notifications now? At least make up your mind about which won't open). Also, you can no longer open the notification and see what it is or respond from the notification itself.
In conclusion, this is a nonsensical, unnecessary, and unwelcome update that feels like it has regressed. These phones feel like they are getting worse with every update. I understand that you guys have to put things out, but at the very least add a feature to revert the ui, or at least parts of it. I truly do not understand why that can't be an option. Hopefully Samsung will actually take feedback and change it because it is practically unusable in its current state. This ui feels like it was only pushed out because they had nothing else to put out. If this sticks around and it how the ui will continue to be moving forward, I genuinely don't think I will ever buy a Samsung again. I will buy a Google phone if I have to, this Ui is horrid.
Edit: I am slowly discovering new things that have been changed. Why did the volume thing need to be changed? Nothing in this update was needed. None of these things needed to be changed at all.
