Called att. They blame samsung and say there's nothing they can do. But they would be happy for me to pay off my device and upgrade. Also tell me to tell samsung to do an out kf warranty replacement. Samsung laughs and blames Google and says they can't fix it but for a fee I can mail them my phone and they'll fix it. Can't even get in touch with Google. Samsung made me do a network reset thing that made the problems worse.

Try backing up your data and resetting your phone. It's not fun but maybe it will help.

But I'm told I lose data that way. That a backup doesn't save everything and u lose stuff anyway. How can people get samsung to quit **bleep** our phones and give us a choice? I said no to the update as much as I could until it got **bleep**

Yes, you may lose some personal data in a reset, but if it was important to you, you should have been backing it up independently regularly anyway.  Whether it gets restored or not depends on whether it was saved within the apps or was downloaded.  But, if you want a working phone, sometimes that's the price you pay.  If your phone is working, you can still back up the stuff that is not contained in the backup by using Smart Switch and and a flash drive or computer.

Even if Samsung did not update the OneUI, Google would have forced the Android 15 update on you.  Samsung works their UI into Android.  Either way, you would have gotten a system update.

No one actually <insert profanity here> you.  You still have not stated what issues you are having, and why you think you bear no responsibility for trying to remediate them on your own.

What, precisely, is happening with your phone that it's "trashed"?  Google might be to blame, or Samsung may be to blame (let's not forget that this was, first and foremost, an Android update), or it could be plain old bad luck.  What phone do you have, what is happening with it?  Or is it just a matter of you don't like the update?  No one can help you, not Google nor Samsung, or any of us, if we do not know what your issue is.

My phone has only charged halfway at night, calls have static and silent parts now, battery drains faster, keep getting grey pages saying I'm not connected, apps freeze, pages freeze, even the att chat got me to an agent to chat and then the chat box started chatting over the agent and the agent could type but not see my responses so he exited, music be playing and then just cut in and out. So many things suck since this one ui7 forced its way onto my phone.

First off, did you clear the  phone cache after the update?  Have you run a diagnostic on the phone to make sure all the components are functioning properly?  Which phone do you have?  The older the phone, the more likely the battery was weakening and the energy expended to perform the update could have weakened it further.  Static could indicate anything from a bad antenna to a bad mic or speaker.  Does the static only happen on calls made over the mobile network or does it also happen with wi-fi calling?  If it happens with wi-fi calling, it makes it more likely it's a mic or speaker issue.

If the diagnostics come up clear, it does appear that your only option would be a factory reset.  As I said earlier, you can backup your personal documents to a flash drive using smart switch.  If you have a flash drive big enough or a computer, you can do a complete backup of your entire system (minus the operating system and UI (that is never backed up).

In performing a reset, you get a complete new operating system without any of the leftover baggage of the previous operating system.

Restoring your backup will bring back your apps and settings and any data stored in those apps.  If you use Samsung Notes and had it set to sync with Samsung Cloud, those notes will come back.  All your Samsung Pass data (if you use it) will be restored.  Your photos, settings and messages are also synced with Google, so they would also be restored. You may lose custom ringtones and notification sounds you may have downloaded, but you can add them to your independent backup.  If you use Samsung Wallet or Google Wallet, your cards will have to be re-added.  For security reasons they cannot be backed up or transferred.

You do not have to start from scratch after a reset unless you choose to.  With a fresh, clean operating system, your errors are unlikely to be replicated, unless they are happening because of an incompatible app conflict.
