Samsung has made it purposely difficult (legal loopholes) for us to have rights to our data being sold. Samsung claims "you have a right to your data" but it is the opposite of a right if we have to jump through hoops, just to ask PERMISSION to not have data be sold for capital.

Many companies make it more difficult to opt out than opt in. Its because when you sign up, you agree to their TOS, and they do disclose that they may sell your info and give you opt out instructions. They are in business to make money and they don't want you to opt out.

@DarthAmberly At a previous company I worked for, we implemented these types of requests for customers. The companies are given time to respond because the first thing they need to do is search for any and all data from the customer which has been stored. Only after doing that search and having the results can they dispose of the data in whichever way you requested.
