Why does it say my app timer ran out and I'm no longer allowed to use YouTube!?

This is atrocious. I thought I could trust Samsung but NOOO, they just had to put an app timer on my video apps largely without my permission or consent and now I'm not allowed to edit my watch history in YouTube because my app timer is out for the day.

If you wanted war there are many far easier ways to escalate. Samsung, you're asking for a world of pain.

I'm now an unhappy customer. This action was extremely disrespectful.

Update: I did some googling and found out that there is a settings feature called app timer in digital well-being. I looked it up in settings using a search function and have since removed the stupid timer. It wasn't set by myself and I believe my Wi-Fi is compromised.

In fact I've known that my Wi-Fi has been compromised since 2 Samsung phones ago. I've had 3 phones before this one. My previous one, which is still active, waiting to finally die on me, just using a Jethro Mobile SIM card and number now, is a Blackview gaming phone. Before my Blackview phone I had an A20 & a J7. The Wi-Fi hacker issue was known since I was using my J7 back in the day.

Changing the Wi-Fi password is a non-negotiable. My parents house and my own condominium have the same Wi-Fi password, and they demand that I don't change the password.

I'm now looking into getting an IoT Wi-Fi firewall for my place and a separate one for my parents place.

Additional information: I am an adult and I don't have parental controls setup on my personal devices. When people tell me it's my parents' settings on my phone that is just rude, because you're discounting my age. Please treat me like an adult. Thank you.

No idea what you're on about. If YouTube has an app timer, it wasn't put there by Samsung. Those are user-defined (see screenshot). If you didn't do it, did someone else (a parent, perhaps) set a timer for YouTube on your device?1766809455515.jpg

I didn't do it. Great, I just bought this thing and now it's already compromised. Possible backdoor issue. I've known my Wi-Fi has been compromised for a few years now. I didn't think that the hackers would get to this level of cruelty.
