Can there be an option for the secure folder to automatically disappear or be disabled once leaving the folder?

If you mean Secure Folder, yes you can hide it. Open the secure folder and click on the three dots and choose 'hide secure folder' and follow the instructions for opening it when needed.

Yes, I'm referring to the secure folder. I didn't know the name in English. Thanks for the clarification!

I understand that. But I just think it would be convenient if it automatically hid when you returned to the home screen. I also know it's not going to be ideal for everyone, so if they made it an option, it would be nice!

I'm just suggesting it as an option because I hope it auto-hides when I just go out of the folder.

Yes โ€” if your Secure Folderis set to Hide (via the Secure Folder settings), it will automatically disappear from the Apps screen and Home screen when you leave it.

Oh? How do I do that? I tried looking at the settings but couldn't find it.

Also, I feel like before the update, it would request a PIN or whichever method of lock whenever we left the folder, but that option seems to be gone too.

If youโ€™ve turned Hide Secure Folder on, the icon will disappear regardless of whether itโ€™s currently locked or unlocked. However, for security reasons, Samsung automatically locks the folder when itโ€™s hidden โ€” so when you un-hide it or open it from the quick panel, youโ€™ll be prompted for your PIN/fingerprint again.

But then when I reopen it from the quick panel, I still have to manually hide it again.

I think this is the part where you misunderstood. I want an option that always hides itself when I just return to the home screen or out of the folder.

I found out that you have to go back to the quick panel and click on it again to hide it. From what I researched that isn't the way it's supposed to work. It could be a bug in the update.
