Samsung Apps and Services@Cesur It's helped us out before. We had a S22 Ultra that had a crack on the back and suffered the dreaded "USB port needs dried out. The device was completely replaced for a deductible of $30.
Of course, the actual coverage will depend on the Custom Care+ plan you choose and the damage to your device.

Samsung Apps and Services---
What Samsung Care+ Covers:
Accidental damage (like cracked screens, spills, or drops)
Mechanical breakdowns after the standard warranty expires
Battery replacements
Replacements or repairs with genuine Samsung parts
Theft and loss protection (only in Samsung Care+ with Theft and Loss, available in select regions)
Access to same-day or next-day repair options in supported areas
Up to 3 claims every 12 months, depending on your region and plan
---
When It's Beneficial:
If youโre prone to dropping your phone or damaging devices
If you want peace of mind beyond the one-year standard warranty
If you have a high-end device like the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Z Fold, Z Flip, or Galaxy Watch Ultra โ where repairs are expensive
If you live near a Samsung Authorized Service Center that can perform fast repairs
If you plan to keep the device longer than a year
---
When It Might Not Be Worth It:
If you always keep your phone in a rugged case and rarely have accidents
If you upgrade phones often, especially within a year
If your credit card or carrier plan already includes protection
If the monthly cost adds up to more than a single repair cost
---
Final Thoughts:
Samsung Care+ can be very helpful if you're investing in an expensive phone or wearable and want quick, certified repairs without worrying about the full cost. But if you're careful with your devices and prefer to save money upfront, you might do just fine without it.
Let me know what device you're using and how long you plan to keep it โ I can help you run the numbers.

Samsung Apps and ServicesOn the surface it is worth it but it is very inconvenient and hard to get a claim executed. Broken webpages, staff who are obtuse and not helpful, and very few authorized repair sites. I live in one of the most populous parts of my country and the nearest repair site for the whole area is a 1 hour drive. And they don't answer the phone or have a website to make an appointment. Many other places are closer, but you won't be able to get an authorized repair at them. And when you look up authorized repair sites on samsung, they show sites that won't be available for your particular claim. Asurion was much better for actually making a claim and getting the fix done with more local options. Of course you could mail the phone to repair with samsung but a 1 hour cracked screen repair then becomes 1 week without a phone.
