Is there anyway to get the ability to change home screen folder icons? That would be an amazing update and a way to not have to rely on 3rd party launchers while maintaining all of the great changes being made to the latest UI.

Are you sure you can change a folder to an icon?

You can change the shape and background color but I dont see how to change the look of a folder itself. Like assigning an icon for a folder (app group)

You can through the Themepark app! Go to icons and you can choose presets or make a custom icon

Yes that only changes the shape or color of the folder which shows up as a bunch of tiny app icons in a group. What I am referring to is to replace the bunch of tiny icons with 1 icon. So if I have an icon pack that has a Google logo, I would be able to replace that group of tiny app icons with the one Google logo. That logo would then upon tapping would open up to show all of the apps in that folder. (I hope that clarifies

Ah I see what you're saying. Unfortunately I don't have a solution to that, I looked for it myself a while ago & couldn't find a way.

Thank for verifying. Just making sure i didn't overlook something. What I was referring to helps to make a cleaner looking home screen. I can be done on Nova launcher but many cool One UI and Home up features are disabled.

It's unfortunate, I seem to remember being able to do that in older versions of Android. I hope they listen to your feedback, would love to be able to do it again

Yes, the only way is to use Nova Launcher for hidden pop-up folders. I have repeatedly asked for this feature in many Betas.
If Nova Launcher had stacked widgets I would use it again.
