Bought directly from Samsung… So I have an open ticket from over the weekend and is in review right now but about 1-1/2 weeks ago the new QN900C was delivered and was flawless… but until a few days ago it started switching to a violet color silhouette where you can see stuff going on and sound but I can’t clearly see. It was intermittent but now it’s 100% constant and I can’t get it to get back to full color on the screen.

it’s not an HDMI issue because I just ran the Samsung live TV with everything else unhooked and to no avail. It’s the same. when it was working I did a factory reset but it still did it now the team that installed the TV I took the one box off and I noticed there was a small crack on the corner now I don’t know if it was damaged and it led to this issue, but I’m curious to know what happens when Samsung gets a hold of me hopefully tomorrow to where a technician can come out and fix it and I hope it’s not the TV and it’s just the one connect box that needs to be replaced.

even the guy at Samsung was perplexed.

Based on the Screenshot you provided it appears that a LAN Cable connected to the TV was yanked. Looks like it pulled the LAN Connector and damaged it. You can see that the LAN Connector is out of center. Cracked the Chassis too! Unfortunately it's shorting and causing other issues with your televison. Looks like it was yanked on quite forcibly too! Hopefully they will will replace your Samsung One Connect Box. Or you'll be able to get a replacement. It's unlikely that they will Warranty this. Hopefully, no internal damage was done to the Television Display itself. Unless the back piece was ripped off the back of the Television.

The Technician is going to scrutinize this and ask you a detailed explanation as to how this happened!

Hey, thanks for the reply. Yeah I’m talking to them right now in text and explained that it’s solely on the installation team Samsung used as 3rd party since I have no involvement in the setup. So it will be interesting to see what they do but definitely will be covered on their end for sure.
