I have the Samsung QN65QN85AAFXZA TV. And I have a Samung Home Theather pluged into HDMI 3.

When I power up the TV always goes to HDMI 3.

I have the TV and Home Theather for 2 years now and it just started to do this.

@usergix1LaU3aQ "Disable HDMI Auto-Sens Switching"

Welcome to the Samsung Member's Community and thank you for your question regarding your Samsung Television. Please follow these tips to "Disable HDMI Auto-Sens Switching"

1. Turn off your Samsung Television
2. Unplug the ONE Connect Box (If Applicable)
3. Wait (2) Minutes
4. Plug Your ONE Connect Box Back into your Samsung Television (If Applicable)
5. On your Samsung Television Remote Press this sequence of Buttons:

Mute->Volume Down->Channel Down->Mute-> Power Button

It may take a few trys because the buttons have to be pressed in consecutive sequence and without too much delay.

This will disable HDMI Auto-Sens Switching. When you plug in a new device into the HDMI Port it will not longer Automatically switch to the Source HDMI. This will eliminate (STOP) your Samsung Television Automatically switching to HDMI 3 every time you turn your Samsung Television ON.

***You need a Standard Samsung Remote Control to perform this action. The Samsumg Smart Remote won't work***

***You will also NOT See any Prompt or Notification that HDMI Auto-Sens Switching has been Disabled***

Thank you for using the Samsung Member's Community and thank you for your question regarding HDMI Auto-Sens Switching. I hope that I have provided you with the answer you seek. Thank you!

Under settings > general and privacy>start screen options. There are 2 options, one for start with smart hub home, and one for auto run last app. These let you choose what the tv displays when it’s initially powered on.  Choose which of those you’d like. Other than that, I’m unsure.

Thank you for your help.

What are you referring to when you say "ONE Connection Box"?

Thank You.

Some of the newest Samsung Television Models have a separate Box that connects to the Television Screen. The ports: HDMI, USB, Etc.

You would know if you have it.
