I have a c27f591 Samsung curved monitor, with built in speakers. I was using it with a laptop for the last year fine, now I had to change the laptop, and my new laptop doesn't recognize the monitor as a source of the sound on Hdmi.
I've tried every steps I've found on the internet to fix the issue, but it didn't help.
- Among the sound devices I don't see the monitor listed (not even hidden), there are only the default laptop speakers - I've tried to reinstall the video card driver, but it didn't help - I've tried to reinstall the audio drivers, but the same, no success - I've even tried to change the type of extension, and the hdmi cable, but no success (and the same hdmi cable was working for me before).
