Hi everyone,
I have my Neo G9 set up for a week now and I'm mostly loving it so far but one thing I cant seem to get to work is the Core Sync feature.

I have Core Sync turned ON in the monitor menu (Infinity Lighting as well), but the backlight remains in white. Even when I play a game (COD Warzone & BF2042 open beta)  it doesnt change colour.

Monitor software version: M-A9549GGPA-1004.0

Model Code: LS49AG950NUXEN

I hope someone can advice on this.

Thank you in advance!

Hi,

is there anyone from Samsung who can pick up this request or is this support page just a front?

What does the User Manual say about Core Synch?

Very little. I get the feeling the manual is just a general set up guide with a little bit of info.
It doesnt have a FAQ, or explain in detail how certain options and features work, like you expect from a manual.

When I search the manual for Core Sync or Core Lighting this are the results:
page 29.pngpage 41.pngAs you can see this doesnt help a thing at all. There's not one section on how the Core Lighting or Core Sync works other than where to find them in the on screen menu.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem (only tested at 240Hz SDR/HDR)

I've tested with different settings, also with HDR Off, 60hz, Adaptive Sync Off and On etc.

CoreSync only works with HDMI.

Okay, that would be something that should be mentioned in the manual.
I will test it this weekend to make sure.

Is there any other advantage to using a HDMI 2.1 cable over using the displayport?
